Bad news: A group of foolish cultists has summoned unknowable eldritch abominations from beyond our world!
Worse news: You are one of those abominations.
Horrible Things in Human Skins is a one-page TTRPG in which you play a lovecraftian monstrosity hidden inside the hollowed-out skin of an unfortunate cultist. Summoned against your will into a strange world you must do your best to blend in and find the ingredients necessary for a ritual to take you back home, all while avoiding a mysterious organisation out to get you. You'll have to rely on your wits and your incomprehensible levels of physical and magical power to get you through. Now if you could just figure out this door handle...
This is currently a WIP and is being created as part of One Page RPG Jam 2024 - this is an early draft available for playtesting and comment.
